Begonia Exchange

Hello John, I don't think we have met, my name is Jim Stewart, I live down in Northumberland, a place called Alnwick. This is my third year in growing begonias. I joined EofS and Scottish Soc. when I met Sam Kennedy at Dunfermline couple of months ago.

As a new boy to this game it was suggested that I try and get some named varieties of tubers for practising on.

Well, it so happens that after that meeting I was potting on seed that I had grow from Mike Steven's of NZ. These are a mix of pendula and upright seed, (60/40) I cannot quite tell the difference yet, but I had a thought, would any of your members like to swap me a cutting of a show tuber in exchange for a tray of nine of these seedlings. I have mentioned this idea to Sam, he was going to mention at meeting, then I thought can I post the request on web site.
